Prenatal & Pregnancy Care
Whether you are a first time mother, or you have experienced the joys of giving birth before, each pregnancy is filled with excitement and a head full of questions. No pregnancy is alike, and with each one your body may respond differently than in previous pregnancies. Some may experience morning sickness while others may not, as is the case with many other side effects that come along with pregnancy.
You and Your baby
Early and regular prenatal care can increase your chances of having a healthy baby. Prenatal care is more than just healthcare, it is also childbirth education as well as counseling. It is very important to take good care of both your mental and physical health during pregnancy . Everything that the woman comes into contact with can affect the baby. Smoking and alcohol consumption can be very harmful to the baby. It is very important not to engage in these activities as they can be extremely detrimental, not only to your baby but to you as well. It is also very important to get plenty of rest, exercise and maintain a healthy diet to help ensure the health of your baby. It is important let the doctor know about any concerns you may have. Don’t be scared to ask questions or let the doctor know of any changes you may have had between visits.
